No. Your current technical integration with our payment gateway and terminals remains fully functional and unchanged. While our brand identity has evolved, our core APIs and connectivity standards continue to provide the same reliable performance your customers expect. We will be in touch if there are any updates or changes.
To help with customer recognition, we recommend using the phrasing "Shift4 (formerly Smartpay)" for the first 3–6 months. This ensures that users familiar with the Smartpay name understand they are still working with the same trusted local team.
Yes! We are continuing our referral programs with the same rewards. If anything changes, we will let you know. You can use the referral landing page or your unique referral link to submit a referral form to us. Our program manager will be in touch to inform you about successful referrals.
